Head Pastor
Mike Hellum
Pastor Mike and his wife, Wendy, love serving at Delano EFC. Mike knew the moment he saw the church’s information that this was where God wanted him.
Pastor Mike is ordained by the Evangelical Free Church of America. He completed his undergraduate work at Northwest University in Kirkland, Washington, majoring in Religion and Philosophy. He attended Trinity Evangelical Divinity School (M.A., all but thesis; Systematic Theology and Philosophy of Religion) and earned his M.Div. from Columbia Evangelical Seminary in Apologetics.
Pastor Mike began serving at Delano EFC July 2019. Previously, he served as head pastor for four years at an Evangelical Free Church in Nebraska. Prior to that, he served in Laramie, Wyoming, as pastor of adult discipleship. Before serving vocationally in ministry, he worked in the private sector for two decades in sales, but he has served as a lay church leader for most of his adult life.
Pastor Mike approaches everything with a sense of humor and loves to laugh. As a very goal-driven individual, though, Mike takes his calling very seriously and describes it as a labor of love.
Mike and Wendy have three adults sons and two daughters in law, and are the proud grandparents of three handsome grandsons. Their Jack Russell terrier mix, Titus, rounds out the family.

Youth Pastor
Samuel Bolt
Pastor Samuel and his wife, Jerica, began serving at Delano EFC in September 2021. Samuel earned his associate’s degree in biblical and theological studies at Boyce College in Louisville, Kentucky, where he is nearing completion of his bachelor’s degree in the same major.
Samuel grew up in Milaca, MN, where he met Jerica. They were married in January 2021. Samuel and Jerica love sports, especially basketball and football. They spend their free time doing anything outdoors, such as running, hiking, and biking. Samuel especially loves to hunt and fish or do anything that will get him in the woods.
But above all, Samuel and Jerica love serving the church, and they are very excited to be able to serve the youth and the church in this role.
